Hi, my name is Betsy,
I grew up in St. Louis, went to Auburn University, and then moved to Colorado Springs, CO
where I started my career with Imaging4Pets. I moved back to St. Louis in 2023 to be closer to
family. I live with my husband Chris and daughter, Carter. We have two dogs- Riley and Reina,
two cats- Milo and Binx, and 4 horses.
I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was growing up. I was pre-vet in college, but life
circumstances caused me to change paths. While in college, I started my career in health care
as an EMT working on an ambulance. I knew I wanted to continue in health care after I
graduated, but needed a different path, that's when I chose ultrasound. Later when I was
working in the hospital as a sonographer and was presented with the opportunity to cross
ultrasound and vet med, it felt like the perfect fit.
I love everything about this job, but what stands out most is working with different clinics and
being a piece of the puzzle to help find out what is going on with our patients.
In between appointments I listen to audio books while driving in the car.
With my personal time I enjoy riding horses, doing all things outdoors, and spending time with
my family.
